Spots Bio

Papa and Daddy (Shawn Preston and Ross Ludwig) came together with one goal in mind- to sell the highest quality carpeting at the lowest possible prices. Yet they soon realized they knew nothing about the flooring industry and so went into something they were better suited for - directing.

Previously, Shawn worked at BBH London, winning numerous awards (including Cannes Gold, Silver & Bronze and a D&AD Silver Pencil) on work for such clients as Lynx, Levi’s and Audi. Papa, too, spent time as an international ad guy. While at Saatchi and Saatchi (both London and Singapore) Ross created multiple Cannes award-winning work for clients such as Hewlett-Packard and Club 18-30.

Their directorial debut, for MTV Asia garnered a Silver Nomination at D&AD. Their follow up campaign for MTV was also nominated by D&AD.

Recently, they wrapped ‘Schmutzmann,’ a campaign for German agency Jung Van Matt and their client, Bosch.

Lured by the United States’s ample sunshine and quality sandwiches, Papa and Daddy have returned to these shores once more.
